James Bond is back. But his return is kind of meh.
After a film like Skyfall it would be nearly impossible for anyone to live up to the hype of a sequel. But most people just had a little more expectations than the film provided.
It had a lot going for it.
A Sam Smith song.
An older women to spice of Bond’s life and break the streak of the young chick with the way too old spy.
Fans anticipating the release.
The fact that this was Daniel Craig’s final send-off as Bond.
But somehow, it was just meh.
I would like to tell you what this film is about. But it virtually did not have a plot.
Money Penny and Q were present. That is the nicest thing I can say about them.
The bond chick had no emotion. Like I know you’re with James Bond but my god do you have a soul behind your eyes? I’m not sure.
After a film like Skyfall with its brilliant acting, this film was at best dismal.
I didn’t see characters, I saw actors. And that is not something I want out of a film.
The only thing about this film that could potentially save it (other than Daniel Craig’s good looks) is Christoph Waltz.
Honestly though, I feel like his talent was wasted. He had so much potential, what were they thinking?
The action was missing. There was more action in the last Mission Impossible movie.
The only things I can take out of it was the tilt of the hat to previous Bond villains.
I’m disappointed and saddened by this film. Watch at your own risk.
